With this new breathtaking offering, inspired by Miles Davis’ Sketches of Spain, Jon Hassell embarks on a celebration of the orchestral virtues of Gil Evans as reimagined in Miles’ dreams. Located in a undefined geography, somewhere between Europe, Africa and the Middle East, the North-American composer returns to our venue, after his ambient performance in 2009, with renewed jazz vitality.
