Sinopsis

Built to Last is the first performance in which Meg Stuart works with music by classical composers. The pieces by Beethoven, Dvořák e Rachmaninoff convey an overwhelming feeling of monumentality. “The expression ‘built to last’”, says Meg Stuart, “betrays a believe in eternal, universal values. How can we cope with the expression of such self-confidence when there is also the sense of an approaching end?”
