How do you explain what beauty means to children and young people? This is the challenge that French philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy tried to tackle when he gave his Small Conference on Beauty. In this performance, the actors make use of the natural dynamics of acting and the conference text to re-ask the question: what is beauty? A seemingly simple idea, but so difficult to define and characterize.
