Sinopsis

Based on a very personal reading of Choderlos de Laclos’ famous novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses [Dangerous Liaisons] by the unpredictable German playwright Heiner Müller, Luca Francesconi composed an ambitious opera premiered in 2011 at Milan’s La Scala. A unique and contemporary proposal laid in the hands of Àlex Ollé (La Fura dels Baus) and conductor Susanna Mälkki.
