In Out of Context, Alain Platel returns to the essence of dance, starting out from the conviction that the human body is an emotive tool and a holder of memories. The piece investigates the body in a state of hysteria, not as pathology, but as a modus of ultra- sensibility. It is a sometimes shocking, but mostly touching masterpiece about the extremes of the human condition.
