Jean-Philippe Clarac & Olivier Deloeuil
Sinopsis
Based on Pasolini’s film Teorema, Clarac and Deloeuil’s Martyre adopts “the mystical and erotic revelations of a bourgeois family, touched by the grace of a stranger called… Sébastien”. The performance by the French duo gives new life to Claude Debussy’s and Gabriele d’Annunzio’s musical play, which was first staged in 1911 and a challenge to the conventions of its time.
