Sinopsis
Tradition has it that Tchekhov’s plays are staged as melancholic contemplations on the fall of aristocracy. But Tónan Quito and his company Truta decided to look at the text of Ivanov as if it were for the very first time and discovered a play full of humour, drama and bigger-than-life characters. From under the layers of dust, the play emerges as we’ve never seen it before: a rough, sparkling diamond.
