Sonatas and Interludes for Prepared Piano is the music that inspired this choreography by Rui Horta who, in reference to Cage’s technique, calls the show Danza Preparata: a solo dance for a “prepared body” in dialogue with a prepared piano. Rolf Hind plays Cage’s work masterfully; the “prepared body” is performed by multifaceted dancer Silvia Bertoncelli.
