Sinopsis
Politics. Probably, in the last two decades, there is no other field whose crisis has been announced more frequently. The simple mention of the word seems to arouse a sense of weariness, alienation, or, at best, sparks an ironic, sceptical or cynical comment. And yet there is no other way than to return, over and over, to the discussion of politics, the real question being what one understands by politics. This is why we say that this cycle of seven debates proposes taking politics beyond politics and the formula marks the desire to go beyond those debates that predominate on the agenda of institutional politics, preferably bringing together political analysts, ministers, journalists, members of parliament, pollsters or political scientists. Taking place on Tuesday evenings in the mmcafé, this cycle seeks to build up a map or a list of problems, ranging from the idea of representation to the question of populism, including the politics of the mob or the crowd, from the concept of biopolitics to the politics of identity, and including the relationship between politics and the police.
