Sinopsis
Iain Ballamy and Huw Warren make the perfect accomplices for June Tabor to, without shaking any of folk tradition’s cornerstones, rise her sublime poetry and voice to a level of rare musical emotionalism between the freedom of jazz and the rigour of chamber music – dear and essential virtues that led Manfred Eicher and ECM to embrace the production and releasing of this phenomenal trio’s debut album.
