Sinopsis
In this comedy, Faith, Hope and Charity (1932), Ödön von Horváth shows us a mean, selfish and cynical society that is always ready to dehumanise itself in a time of material, spiritual and moral decadence. For the author, this could be the title of all his plays, for, as he states, “they are all based on a time when believing, loving and having hope are a necessary utopia”. In this special staging of the play, the Portuguese director has invited three amateur theatre groups from Lisbon to make their own presentations at different venues around the city.
