Sinopsis

E agora nós! is a show that arose from the wish to work with three people, Adriano Diouf, Jéssica Ribeiro and Vânia Lopes, who took part in a theatre workshop at the Vale da Amoreira Artistic Experimentation Centre (later being joined by Joãozinho da Costa and Luís Mucauro).

“We began with the “game of difficult questions”. This is a game where you are not allowed to answer questions with the words “yes” or “no”. Whoever is answering always has the possibility of not replying, but they must examine their conscience in doing so. During the process, I discovered that, when they were at secondary school, Vânia, Jéssica and Adriano took part in another game at the school gate, which they called “rodinha” (ring). It was a kind of court of appearances, where vanity and self-esteem were subjected to close examination. I then decided to join the game of difficult questions and “rodinha” together into just one game, which became known as “rodinha de fogo” (ring of fire). In this ring, in which everyone is both a “provoker” and the target of provocations, the alternative to not getting burned is to tell a story. Of the kind that are difficult to share.”
