Sinopsis
“After we first met, we began writing to get to know each other. Without any particular thought or reason, I asked you, ‘What do you think about when you are looking at the ocean?’ Perhaps I was hoping for something philosophical, or meditative, in response. But your reply was surprising and practical: ‘That it is a shame that I cannot swim.’”
Alexander Kelly
Learning to swim investigates different aspects of the human condition – learning processes, identity, memory, expectations, affection. The process of learning serves as a metaphor for a new, virgin space, open to the challenge of the task and vulnerable to the risks of the unknown.
