Owen Pallett is currently, along with Nico Muhly, one of the most popular arrangers and orchestrators in pop. But he is also a brilliant songwriter. Armed with only his violin and some minimal resources on stage, he faces the audience alone, weaving the structures of his music layer by layer, as if it were an endless game starting over and over again from scratch.
