In recent times, the question of the spectator has become the central focus of reflections about theatre and its possibilities. It is not about “satisfying expectations”, treating the spectator mainly as an expectator. But to think artistically about the capacity of performance and theatre to develop alternative options from the standardized habits of viewing that are encouraged by the media culture. Apart from a theoretical framing, the masterclass will address the various projects presented by the participants.
