Cineastas revolves around the stories of four filmmakers in Buenos Aires, and the four movies they lm over the course of a year. Sometimes, their lives influence their work, while in others it’s the filmmaking that transforms their lives. Without recourse to video, a cast of five actors embodies multiple characters while also doing a live commentary that is like the voice-over in a movie (or the narrator in a novel).
