Indigenous Issues: Ecology, Land and Amerindian KnowledgeUtopias
Workshop
Sinopsis
What other forms exist for creating a collective and what can we learn through contact with the native Amerindian cultures? In this workshop, Luisa Elvira Belaunde presents us with the different forms of knowledge and feelings in some societies from the Peruvian lowlands of the Amazon rain forest, which are based on two types of relations. Firstly, the relationship of subjectivity with plants and the beverages that are extracted from these plants. Secondly, the relationship with the creative practices associated with the art of ceramics that emphasise the relationship between listening, thinking and action, and which lie at the very basis of the formation of personal autonomy.
