Sinopsis
During the debates that animated and enlivened the 1988 Constituent Assembly, a young Amerindian stepped onto the podium and, instead of resorting only to a verbal discourse about the difficulties experienced by his people, preferred to put on a performance. He then placed thick layers of genipapo paint all over his face. This is a documentary lm about the life trajectory of this Amerindian, Ailton Krenak, now 63 years old, an indigenous leader and one of the greatest proponents of the various causes of Brazil’s original native peoples.
