Sinopsis

How should one think about a world in which being human is not a condition, but a position? A world where parenthood is not related with reproduction, but is produced through everyday acts of caring for and feeding others? Where animals see themselves as humans and take people as their prey? In this conference, Aparecida Vilaça takes us into the world of the Amazon in order to question our current notions of humanity, animality and parenthood.
