The history of colonialism in Central and South America shows that the political and religious processes set up there led to the disappearance of millions of people. Based on the experiences of Milanez, Bengoa and Llasag Fernandez, this debate will focus on the need to mobilise people in defence of a system that is capable of ensuring the rights of indigenous peoples.
