Sinopsis

A composition for the representation of movements that are fixed but not rigid. A work of the body’s rhythmic contrasts, both in movement or standing still. A person passes… But no. There are more people. One here, another there. And what about that one? They weren’t there before. Or were they? They were fixed in one position and I could not see them before. Fixed movements are then released. Not in contradiction of those same movements. Not to erase them, but to extend them.
And another person has already passed…

Doesdicon is a choreography by Tânia Carvalho conceived especially for the Dançando com a Diferença group. It premiered at the Viriato Theatre in 2017, with artistic direction by Henrique Amoedo.
