In May and June 2015, Teatro Maria Matos celebrated the 25th anniversary of Gender Trouble, the groundbreaking work by Judith Butler which has become fundamental in queer and gender studies. Now that Orfeu Negro has published the Portuguese version of the book, we dedicate this week’s podcast to remembering Butler’s conference in Teatro Maria Matos in 2015.
